4 Coffee (by Roastery Cultur) in Ahmedabad, is known for offering local coffee folk exactly the kind of coffee they like. There is something for the manual coffee lovers, espresso addicts, the sweet coffee drinker, the Vietnamese coffee fans amongst others. There is something for everyone. We were onboarded to reimagine the 4 Coffee brand with this new found clarity of a Friendly Neighbourhood coffee joint.

Our identity work for 4 Coffee was centered around creating a visual language that signals both direction and comfort. The logo takes the form of a compass, referencing the idea of crossroads and daily decisions, set in a retro-modern typographic system that nods to the 1970s while remaining contemporary.

 The colour palette selection was broad yet muted, maintaining approachability and relevance. The brand steers away from exclusivity and instead embraces clarity, comfort, and reliability, values that were translated across its visual and verbal tone.

The design system for 4 Coffee came together through thoughtful, minimal details. Graphic patterns, soft grid layouts, and framed iconography gave the physical and digital collaterals a quiet rhythm. These design decisions were subtle, but they worked to reinforce structure and trust without being overbearing.

 The brand copywriting extended the same idea of relatability, “Good Coffee, Always, All Ways,” spoke to their commitment to consistency, flexibility, and inclusiveness. Whether you’re passing by or returning daily, 4 Coffee is designed to always meet you where you are.
